What I’ll often do is record a sample verse and sample chorus of a song I’m writing, so that I don’t forget what I wrote the next day when I continue working on it.

I wanted to cover “Backyard Skulls” but I struggled with doing it justice. I sang about five tones lower than Hutchison does and threw some alt-country picking under the verses.
I might be really behind on this one but the last few moments are a testament to Adams’ considerable guitar skill.
